A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm. Located 10 minutes out of Bindoon on a secure, peaceful and private acreage Bindoon is a lovely small town that has an IGA, Post Office, Hardware Store, Pharmacy. Bakery and more. You will need to be self contained and bring your own drinking water. Small dogs are allowed but must stay with your setup or be on a leash when walking. Also if you have bikes, there is a bike trail into Bindoon from the end of Teatree Road (4.1km). This is where the Museum, Arts and Crafts centre and Men’s shed are located. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm and Golden Wattle .We supply local Florists with much of our produce. We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden. BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available and we have Two cabins. The Music Room Cabin for two people, and the Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people. Both have TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc. We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be provided or bring your own. Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here. Caravans are also welcome. One Powered site available. A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows. Local attractions include: Toodyay Emu Park, Archery Park, Avon Valley National Park and the Avon River, Paruna and Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuaries, Toodyay Townsite - Connors Mill,The Old Gaol and many other historical sites ,shops and restaurants. You can also visit the Swan Valley where there are many wineries ,pubs and restaurants. We sell Wildflowers and wildflower arrangements and check out our handcrafted wooden boxes.
