Welcome to Camp Arroyo Grande! Enjoy 29-acres that feature beautiful ocean views, oak woodlands, and plenty of rustic charm. All this is conveniently tucked into the hillside just steps away from the Village of Arroyo Grande where you will find restaurants, coffee, shopping, parks and Roosters. The property is home to many youth groups and local non-profits, continuing a 135-year legacy as an Event Center and Retreat Space. The historic Tabernacle building has been hosting church and schools gatherings, dinners, fundraisers, weddings, family reunions, festivals and more since 1897. Community Events are likely to be taking place but follow quiet time guidelines. *pool is seasonal and subject to availability

Lovely little hideaway in old AG.

Lovely little hideaway close to the village! Camp site was nice and clean. Host was available and kind. Restrooms and showers near pool were available, although the pool was closed during our March visit (which we expected). Safe area. If you want seats/table at your site, bring your own. Keep in mind and respect it is a non-smoking property. We would definitely stay again.

We loved this space! It was perfect for our family (3 adults, 1 toddler, and our dog). It’s so close to everything and has all the things you need for a comfortable stay.

This little get away is a hidden gem. While only being a block from the historic downtown, it feels as if you are completely surrounded by nature and out of town. A perfect blend!

Would love to go back!
Really nice and clean! Close walk to town but felt like you were miles away. Super easy to get to and easy on/off highway 101.

Beautiful view, immaculate facility
This was the fourth stop on my best friend's 7-state 30th birthday road trip in February, and our *only* difficulty here was that traffic caused us to get in well after dark, which made finding our cabin tricky, so I recommend arriving in daylight if possible. Otherwise, my complaint to my pal while we were leaving was that we didn't have more time to spend here, because I just kept noticing more and more nifty things about it! There are citrus trees, many cute (shy) lizards, wild succulents and other nifty/pretty plants, a *beautiful* view from the top of the hill, interesting trails, event spaces, and - as I only noticed on our way out - a swimming pool! The cabin was spacious, clean, quiet, and fresh; we got restful sleep in the beds; the restrooms and showers were immaculate - seriously, maybe the best of the many I've seen at camps in seven states; the wash troughs outside the restrooms were super convenient; and our parking spot being right outside our door made packing in and out so quick and easy. My only in-person interaction with a host was ultra brief, but she was really friendly. We both recommend the heck out of this camp, and really hope we have the opportunity to stay again!
