This campsite offers a truly unique experience, blending the beauty of Big Sur with the comforts of well-thought amenities. Many campers appreciate the peaceful setting, enhanced by the sound of a nearby creek and the proximity to the beach. The hosts are generally praised for their welcoming nature, although a few visitors noted communication issues. Some reviews mention the rustic charm of the site, but others felt the site could benefit from better maintenance and clearer signage.
Definitely a great place! Recommend getting there before dark as it can be hard to find. Be prepared for minimal to no cell service during your stay. The host(s) were great and willing to assist in any way possible. We would definitely stay again!
Beautiful spot with cats roaming everywhere. Me and my friends stayed over night and it was so beautiful, quiet, and so fun. You can walk down to the beach and hangout my the creek. Lots of exploring.
Honestly, never made it there because we left somewhat late and got lost in the dark so found another campsite, but the host was very communicative with quick replies which was much appreciated so I wanted to comment on that. There were road closures that were not listed on google maps, so next time I would definitely leave much earlier to leave plenty of time to get there.
Beautiful property with lots of campsites. Also some friendly dogs and cats. Everything you need here for a comfortable camping experience including hot showers, hot water in outdoor sinks, kitchen nooks, filtered water and compost toilets. Very close to the beach as well (5 minute hike) and also next to a nice creek. It was a great home base for exploring the southern part of Big Sur for a few days. Had a great experience and will be back again for sure!
Hard to get to from the north, but SO worth it!! Lovely location, and I loved their little cat. February was a lovely time to come here. Weather was incredible, creek was running, and the sky was clear. Accommodations were awesome. Would totally come again.
