We had a fantastic stay at this campsite in Petersfield, despite arriving much later than planned due to an accident on the way. John was incredibly helpful and patient, welcoming us with a smile even though it was late, raining, and very muddy! The location is great, with lovely views, and Charlotte and John have thoughtfully provided everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Even in wet weather, it was a great spot—peaceful and well set up. We’re looking forward to coming back when the sun is shining!

Lovely wild camping spot, nice view and completely remote. Charlotte is an absolute Diamond and couldn’t be more helpful, we had a great stay and will definitely stay again. A couple of pubs are not too far away and do nice food and beer for those not completely roughing it.

I loved tent camping on Charlotte land, so quiet and beautiful views. The ponies are friendly and I really appreciated the firewood and fire pit. Being the only person there was the closest to wild camping as I could be without wild camping! I’d definitely go back when the days are longer and I could enjoy the land and views even more. Thanks so much for showing me round and making me feel at home 🙏
