Home away from home!

Omg Emilie and her mama are the sweetest, most welcoming hostesses! They greeted us! Offered an electric heater! Made recommendations for everything we had planned to do! Immediately swapped numbers! Absolutely wonderful visit! We plan to return to Cortez for a week and stay with them again!!! It’s like home away from home!

What a great spot Emilie has! Host is really nice and helpful. Quiet, historical neighborhood and on a dead end street. Several restaurant's within walking distance. I'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed Emilie’s place very much. The area is still recovering from devastating hurricane damage, and it was nice to find a safe and quiet spot for our RV. She was very kind and helpful

Peaceful by The Beach

Emilie has a very quiet & clean spot with water & 50amp electric right @ side of house. She responded quickly to any messages/questions and provided us with a great spot less than 1.5 miles to the Gulf Beaches.
Excellent restaurants in Cortez we're within easy walking distance and we used Uber to get to Anna Maria Island.
Our 29' Class C with 2 driver-side slides fit in the spot well (only difficulty might be for a unit with slides on both sides).

Best time at Cortex and AMI

We had the best time staying with Emilie and her family. They were so helpful and welcoming and we loved staying there. Emilie answered all of our questions quickly and had lots of recommendations for activities and restaurants. We stayed an extra day to experience the annual Cortez fishing festival and except for an enormous crowd it was fun to be a part of. We choose Cortez as it is right next to the beautiful Anna Maria Island (AMI) that we highly recommend to visit. Best fish, beaches and weather - we loved it there.

Old Florida vibe camping spot

Stayed with our 21 ft travel trailer. Such a cute and comfy spot in Emilies driveway. Quiet area within walking of a few restaurants and bakery. Would stay again, the best of Old Florida in Cortez. We rode bikes over the bridge to beautiful cortez and coquina beach. Thanks Emilie!
