Enjoy a secluded and quiet spot nestled in the Dodge Creek area of the West Kootenai. The area is surrounded by national forest land and offers a peaceful get away in the forest. The wildlife will welcome you and take you back to a much simpler time. Off the beaten path, located on the West Side of Lake Koocanusa, where Amish horse and buggies travel, and people are often seen on horseback. No gas stations or stores other than an Amish owned grocery with ice cream, baked treats and lunch, Friday night buffet dinners and Saturday morning breakfasts. You'll also find a farm stand or two. Lake Koocanusa beaches are a quick drive away, or hike Mt. Robinson, head to the Yaak, explore the forest service roads. We're a side by side and 4 wheller friendly community. Come visit our beautiful spot in the trees! Although remote, we have a hobby farm, so be prepared to hear the chickens, ducks, horses and dogs.
