Murphy's Gold Creek Ranch

17 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Cranbrook, BC
I sold a business in Toronto and moved West in 1990 and drove all over North America looking for a new place to settle and raise a family. While camping in the Kootenay's I found this oasis and bought it. I have raised a family living totally off the grid since and love it. The water here is so clean and and the air is so fresh is why I stay. The night sky is so hard to explain it has to be seen to believe. Come check it out and you will agree. Learn more about this land: Enjoy camping on our 25-acre property just outside of Cranbrook, BC! We have multiple spots to choose from. You can camp beside the creek, in an open field, or up high with beautiful views of the valley. It all depends on your preferences and the privacy that you desire. We welcome tent and RV campers. If you're bringing an RV, there are sites that do not require levelling and we can accommodate vehicles up to 75ft in length. Bring your animals - there are a lot of great spaces for them to play! Our yard is equipped for horseback riding with a horse ring and stable.  The property is a great step-off point for ATV, dirt bikes, horseback and hiking adventures.  Potable water, toilet, picnic table, wifi and showers are available. Enjoy privacy in the woods amongst the cedar trees, birches, and red pines. We have currently two available sites for RV campers. We can accommodate vehicles up to 29ft in length and the site requires small leveling. The trailers need to be prepared for off grid. Super quiet forest with lots of hikes and kayaking nearby. There are many orchards with fruit trees and vegetables just a 10-minute drive from the property. Two large red sequoias 2 minutes drive. Beautiful Kootenay lake is about 20 km north. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban, and pets are welcome. There will be firewood waiting for you. (No need to buy) The property is located in Creston Valley, BC. Creston Valley is situated just 10 kilometres north of the U.S. border and at the south end of Kootenay Lake, nestled between the majestic Selkirk & Purcell Mountains. Retreat Yourself!

1 site · Lodging1 acre · Gray Creek, BC
I bought this magical property 13 years ago and I have developed it from beach to mountain with the idea of sharing it with epic humans since day 1. It is 1 acre of pure natural and artistic bliss. The natural wonders include a massive beach with space for many, a gigantic sling shot, sweet fire pits, comfortable lawn chairs, paddle boards, kayaks, a cedar strip canoe, and many other toys free for you to explore. My property has 2 rentals on it, the other is right on the beach called "Sweet beach house-edge of the water", in case you wanted to book both locations. There are also a couple of sites for extra guests to pitch a tent on for a fee. Its like jurassic park here...very tropical and chill. The artful camper boasts of an outdoor spa and deck, BBQ, mini fridge, fantastic lake and mountain views and access to the beach from 9am-8pm. The other rental a.k.a. The beach-house comes with an attached outdoor 1950's style kitchen, oudoor on demand shower, outhouse, fire pits, lawn chairs, and free use of water vessels. It is located steps from the water. Truly magical.
