Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Fairfield is a 25-acre property located 10 minutes from Tamworth CBD. Timbumburri Creek runs through the centre of the property, offering multiple locations to fish, sit back and relax with a beer. Fairfield is the ideal location to set up close to town whilst enjoying some peace and quiet, and plenty of open space to set up your camp. Makes a convenient base camp to explore the local area and enjoy local events. Hike to the Flagstaff Lookout, around 15 minutes drive away. The township of Nundle is around 1 hours drive and makes for a great day trip. And in January, the iconic Tamworth Country Music Festival is in town, so it's a great time to visit. All campers to Fairfield must be completely self-sufficient, with their own camp toilet and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.Pitch your tent, swag, camper trailer or park up your caravan on the bank of the Timbumburri Creek. Enjoy the peaceful view and throw a line in while being a 10min drive to the centre of Tamorth. The camp sites are located in a large lightly sloping grassed paddock. You will be able to pick your camp site from the available options on arrival. Note all camp areas will be tidy and mowed. All campers must be self-contained. This is an ideal location for the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Limited bookings will be accepted to ensure we don't overcrowd the camping area. During peak times (Tamworth CMF), rates may vary.

What a peaceful, relaxing setting right on the Timbumburi Creek! It was like we were 30kms to town yet we were 10 mins from Peel Street. 3 mins away from 2 service stations, 5 mins to a supermarket. An ideal setting for parents with school age children or an adults only retreat. Enjoy fishing, swimming or just relax in the shade. Clare was a fantastic host and had the site in terrific order, thanks so much. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning to 'Fairfield' West Tamworth.

Nothing wrong with this place, but nothing great. The creek is not ideal to get wet in as it is dirty and high banks. Grass needs to be mowed not slashed in the camp area.
