Halacal Farm is a breathtaking 100-acre property nestled in the pristine rolling foothills of Lambs Valley. Surrounded by rugged escarpments and glacial-formed ridges, the landscape rises dramatically above the valley floor, creating a natural amphitheatre for fog-filled winter sunrises and sunsets so stunning, they'll leave you in awe.
This secluded sanctuary is a haven for wildlife, with native birds, wild animals, and vibrant forest fungi adding to the charm of the environment. Whether you're an adventurer or simply seeking serenity, Halacal Farm offers an immersive escape into nature, where every moment is designed to help you unwind and reconnect with the great outdoors.
Indulge in the country lifestyle by feeding the animals, fishing for yabbies, exploring bushwalking trails, or simply relaxing by your campfire.
Halacal Farm also serves as a phenomenal base camp for exploring the Hunter Valley. Just 25 minutes from the heart of wine country, 30 minutes from Maitland CBD, and 30 minutes from Dungog, it’s perfectly situated for wine tasting, taking a dip in the Allyn River, enjoying lunch in a historic town, or indulging in some boutique shopping.
Halacal Farm is kid-friendly, (well-behaved) dog-friendly, and a neighbourhood-friendly venue. Good times are welcomed! Loud, inconsiderate, and loutish guests are not.
Most sites are accessible by a high-clearance vehicle, though wet weather will generally require 4WD capability. If you don’t own such a vehicle, we’re happy to assist, but prior notice is required.
This is an excellent campsite, very peaceful and secluded. Luke is a great host, very friendly and welcoming to his property. Perfect place to get away from everything.
I had a fantastic stay at seclusion gulley! The location was beautiful, and the owner was very friendly. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature and relax. Highly recommend it!
