3 x 25 acre blocks were originally subdivided prior to the 1980's by the previous owners of Biara for each his 3 sons.
He gifted each of his sons one of these 25 acre parcels of land. It seems the 3 sons were not keen to stay around and eventually all three blocks were sold off. The Gateway is the end of these original 3 blocks.
The site allows mainly for camping and relaxing although there are numerous dirt roads to explore, Mudgee wineries close by and Burrendong Dam not far away (accessible via Hill End Road near Erudgere).
