Wattle Valley Farm is a spacious and well-maintained campsite with clean amenities and friendly hosts. It's located near Wollombi, offering a serene environment with plenty of room for privacy. The river provides a refreshing spot for swimming, and there are bushwalks and wildlife to explore. While the campgrounds are generally peaceful, some guests noted occasional noise from other campers and nearby events.

Lovely campsite with so much space and individual campfires. Bathrooms and showers were hot and very clean each day. We bought fire wood from the hosts which was handy but we would suggest having the logs cut a little smaller in future. Only for we had our own hatchet we would have struggled to get the fire going as we needed to chop smaller pieces before using the logs we bought. Lovely cafe and bar in the local village. We would definitely choose this campsite again. .

Check in was simple and matt was very welcoming and tailored our camping spot to our vehicles needs. Well spread out and minimal noise. Showers were instant hot (which is good on those cold morning/nights)

Hidden gem
What a fantastic place! I almost don't want to write a review so that other people don't know about this hidden gem! Matt is lovely, the sites are big and well kept, short walk to the water for a dip, showers and toilets are great... what more can I say... we will be returning soon!

Such a great spot, we just stayed for one night but would definitely love to come back for a longer weekend. Camp sites where tidy and well spaced, amenities were great and so close to the town of Wollombi, very easy to duck to the Tavern for dinner. Would definitely recommend

Terrible experience
The owner is not very helpful, he basically rejected everything we have been asking for. For example we asked if we can check in slightly earlier than 3pm if there is no guest before us, the answer is no. There is absolutely no reception in the camping area. When we try to borrow WiFi to give family a quick update, the answer is NO. The site to bathroom is 10min walk, it is fine during the day, but absolutely terrifying if you need to go at night! I have never met an owner that is so unhelpful.
