Our 25 acre HipCamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site! We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. We look forward to welcoming you to Willowbank on the Murray

We had a great time at the willows. We have tried a number of Hipcamp sites and this is by far the best! Great site, other campers can’t be seen or heard, Vicki the host was great to deal with prior and whilst at camp. Couldn’t recommend it more highly and will certainly be back!

This is the perfect location right next to the river with a fire pit. We were lucky enough to have a full moon and still night. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed as it’s camping heaven.

River escape by town.
16 ft Class A · With pets ·
Nice place on the river. Perfect for families and group gatherings. Ideal for canoe and light swimming near the banks. Dogs loved it ! We were blessed by the weather too. The host family are lovely. A few other things to note: There were a few wasps around so be ware of that. The freeway is close by so there is noise that carries especially at night. You are never quite alone, there’s always people fishing or kayaking. So not quite 100% privacy.

Relaxing Red River Gums
22 ft travel trailer ·
We loved taking our van to Willowbank. We stayed at the Red River Gums. Stunning view of the river. Not as easy access to the river as other campsites there but definitely still able. Vicki was extremely helpful. You can hear the road as you are close to town but the camp is secluded. We made the most of being close to town and enjoyed the local Cafe.
