Horrible Misrepresentation
Tent
While the tent and bed were nice, the location was terrible. I was so disappointed when I arrived and realized I was staying in someone's backyard. I was in a cleared out area looking at 3 houses. I could have done this in my own backyard. This was grossly misrepresented on the description. It is NOT private or serene. I paid for 2 nights but promptly left after 1 night to seek the serenity I was after. I strongly advise re-writing the description so that you don't continue to have disappointed guests. The tent also smelled horribly of a musty/moldy smell. AND, I paid $10 for firewood which was chopped into huge logs and was wet. If you're going to charge $10 for firewood, at least take the time to cut the logs into smaller, burnable pieces and make sure it's dry.

Great spot 5 minutes from Boone.
Tent
Thanks for the hospitality Shane! Thanks for answering all of our questions in a quick manner. The camp site is wonderful! The tent was way bigger than we thought. My two teenage boys slept in the bed in the tent. I parked my campervan in the driveway. Easy to turn around in once you figure it out. I easily turned my big Chevy campervan around in the driveway. Flat parking spot, picnic table, solar lights, and a clean bathroom stall. Nice firepit and the firewood burns nicely. Beautiful spot! Thanks again!

Tent
This is a great spot for a quick unplanned romantic getaway close to town. It is quiet, and private and the bell tent was cozy. Directions were clear and easy to find. Be quiet when arriving and you may see deer or other wild life while pulling in. We thoroughly enjoyed our short time here.

Home Away From Home!

Beautiful site with a romantic setting. Loved that we were 5 minutes away from downtown but also felt secluded. The porta-John was extremely clean! The tent was amazing. We were actually talking about purchasing one and where we would put it. Bed in the tent was comfortable. Loved how the bed frame and the furniture was made out of repurposed wood pallets. Would definitely recommend and stay at again. We had a one year old and a pup with us and they loved it as well!

Will not book again!
Tent
I road trip often, and often don’t have an exact location where I will end up for a night but rather, drive as far as I can in a day. That’s why I seriously rely on the accuracy of listings. This was listed as ready to go for tents and that’s what I was prepared to sleep in. I booked and after spending about 30mins trying to find the location, I contacted the host. They helped me find the location but informed me that there was construction and the site was not camp ready but I could sleep in my car on their site. They offered a refund since none of the amenities listed were actually available to me, but when I accepted and asked for the refund, the host decided to stop responding to my messages. I messaged again to give them a second opportunity to refund and make the situation better. This site was after all $40. It wasn’t just $20. I spent less than $20 to have a site with water, showers, laundry, bathrooms, etc. the next night only ~30 mins from this location. Aside from the poor management of the listing (if under construction just make it so people can’t book or disclose this in the discription). I was expecting this site to have more privacy than a typical campground, but it’s honestly just in a wooded area between a bunch of houses. You’re basically backyard camping, just in someone else’s backyard. Definitely NOT worth $40 even with all the amenities that the listing stated, I would have felt the $40 was too much, especially now I know the other options in the area

Easy to find! Great spot, feels miles out of town and is actually close! Can walk for coffee to Hatchet Coffee, .4 mile. Loved the elevate fire pit and picnic table. Beautiful setting, saw deer this morning while cooking breakfast. Great gas station about 1/2 mile away on Bamboo Road and 221. Mobil. Very clean. We have a 25’ sprinter that fit perfect. Easy to turn around. Flat. Big space for tent campers as well. Super impressed. Felt very safe.
