No product has a closer relationship to its raw material than wine does it to its vineyard, and at Russian Chapel Hills Winery, we are developing a heritage of fine viticulture.
Our vineyard rests below the beautiful St. Anna Chapel, which is a part of the Eastern Diocese of the Russian Church Outside of Russia.
Visitors to Russian Chapel Hills Winery will perhaps be most delighted at being able to visit an authentic, 17th century stile Russian chapel. The chapel is not just a tourist draw attraction to us.
It is our heritage that such steps are taken, continuing in the footsteps of our ancestors who have built the beautiful churches around the world for hundred of years.
With spring in full bloom, St. Anna Chapel in the midst of the vineyard will be a lovely and welcoming sight from the winery tasting room
We hope God will bless a world class wine-making operation here, in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains, just south of Lake Lure.
As proprietors of an estate vineyard we use only our own grapes. This allows us to control the quality from the vine's bud break to the sorting table. Only the highest quality fruits are chosen for the production of Russian Chapel Hills Winery wines. From seven estate-grown varietals Russian Chapel Hills Winery produces dry European stile wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and whites Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. As well as our favorite dessert wine Muscadine.

Camping at the Russian Chapel Vineyards offers a unique experience amidst beautiful vineyards, with friendly hosts and the added bonus of wine tasting. Many campers appreciated the secluded and quiet atmosphere, with options to pitch tents in various scenic spots. Some reviews mentioned minor challenges with site directions and communication, but the overall sentiment was positive, highlighting the property's charm and the engaging experiences like sunset views and starry nights. It's a great spot for those looking to combine camping with a touch of vineyard elegance, though a few campers noted the need for clearer site instructions and better maintenance.
This is the second time we stayed here and we’ll definitely be back again. We love being close to vineyards and views when we camp and this spot has both. Anna was incredibly hospitable and a joy during our wine tasting. We’ll be back.
This was an amazing place to camp! Gorgeous views and weather. We were able to set up wherever we wanted because we were the only people camping there. We also had a great experience at the tasting room and loved all of the wines that Russian Chapel Hills winery has to offer. I would highly recommend visiting the tasting room as well as camping on site.
Stayed in a 20ft travel trailer 15 feet from the actual chapel. Spectacular views, amazing wine and welcoming hosts. I would definitely stay here again.
Such a beautiful area and Andrey was very kind and helpful! We hope to stay again.
