Our piece of heaven…
We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill, fire pit, patio set, table and chairs.
There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is quite long, but gets you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. We have a small horse corral if requested. We have many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!
Sorry no ATV use on property at this time.
For large events some extra arrangements may be possible, just ask. We look forward to sharing our piece of our heaven with you. If you are looking for catering, I know of 2 places that serve amazing food and will cater food, tables and chairs…Our piece of heaven… This campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our treed, 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike,, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents right next to the lake. Our driveway is about 3/4 of a mile to get you into this peaceful, privacy. The road to our place is blacktop, our driveway is part gravel and part dirt so please drive very slow. Come, let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill, fire pit, patio set, picnic table, chairs, some inflatables, life jackets, portable toilet with weekly cleaning, and pit toilet. Guests must bring their own propane or rent a tank from us. The lake front: It is a one step down to the lake and then it has a gradual slope for about 75 feet, then drops into deeper water. There is a large area to swim without much seaweed. The water is nice and warm to swim in. We are just passed where the coast fog comes in, so it stays warmer longer most days. The whole camping area is south facing, so bring sun screen. There are tons of trees surrounding the cleared area (camping area), with 2 large trees by the picnic area for a little shade.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. This would be a very fun place to ride a horse. Only weed free hay allowed please. You can add extra people for a fee on hip camp.. There’s is plenty of room for 30-40 people. We don’t charge for extra cars or RVs. We do not have a dock. Sorry no ATV use on property at this time. You can bring them and park here to take them to the dunes. Please feel free to ask any questions, it helps me rewrite my ad to make things easier for everyone. I try to respond instantly, but I am sometimes out of range enjoying this beautiful place!

Long RVs are fine. There is one spot we would watch for you on 40’ or longer RVs. to make sure the rear doesn’t scrape the bottom.

The road to the property is paved. Our long driveway is partly graveled and partly dirt. It can be quite dusty at the end of the summer. Not dusty at camp. We built the road wide and keep it trimmed, so no pin striping! The narrowest spot is approximately 20 feet wide. Seldom does it rain enough during our 3 month season to be an issue. If it does rain, 4 wheel drive is better. We will refund if the road is impassible.

Gem to keep for myself
5 m travel trailer
This place is an absolute gem. I won’t go on too much about it only because I don’t want to keep it for myself. Also, Janellie was a fabulous host. Super responsive, had everything setup and read for us, checked us in but didn’t see them (or anyone!) on the 200 acres abutting the lake!

I was unable to make this trip due to Covid, but my friends who were there enjoyed their time and enjoyed using the lake! I look forward to hopefully visiting sometime next year. Thank you, Janellen, for being so responsive and communicative.

Tent
The campsite was quiet and peaceful. We loved being right on the lake to swim, fish, and kayak.
We did see what looked like bear scat on the way in so be sure to follow bear precautions if you are tent camping.
