We have 55 acres of paddocks plus dams 10 minutes from Rockhampton City. We are 1 km from the Fitzroy River with boat access and fishing. A lovely, quiet spot with amazing sunsets. We've just opened a new toilet and shower block providing a relaxing space to wash off the dust after a day on the road. There is plenty to do in the area from fishing, cycling and rowing to relaxing with a book beside your own campfire (available depending on fire season/fire risk and in discussion with host). Horses, dogs and chickens reside here. Fresh farm eggs available.

Jo and Dave were beautiful hosts for our stay. They were extremely accommodating keeping us on dry ground, making us feel comfortable and welcomed with the recent rain that we had. The facilities were very well kept and the farm was awesome to go for a walk around. Definitely recommend staying at Laurel bank farm.

Wonderful
An exceptional campsite! We absolutely loved our stay at this campsite in Rockhampton. The place is peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The showers and toilets are simply amazing—clean, practical, and tastefully built by the owners. Honestly, the best camping showers we’ve ever had! The owners are lovely, very welcoming, and always happy to help. You can really feel the passion they’ve put into this place. We highly recommend this campsite and will most likely return on our next trip to the area. Thank you for this amazing experience!

We had a wonderful, but unfortunately short stay at the farm and can definitely recommend an overnight stay there. We arrived relatively late in the evening, were warmly welcomed personally, everything was explained to us and we felt at home. The two hosts are very friendly, always available for questions and requests, and were very easy to reach. (We booked at very short notice). The farm is only a stone's throw from the city and is easy to find. The bathroom/shower is in top condition and was recently redone and limited recommendation, value for money was top Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

We loved our night at Jo and Dave’s Old veggie patch. The facilities they offered were amazing, really nice toilets and showers. We arrived after sunset so missed out on that but the sunrise in the morning was beautiful! Jo and Dave were lovely also. Highly recommend this spot!
