Little Oakey Acres Camping is situated at the bottom of the Valley at the base of the Toowoomba Range. Little Oakey Acres is a complete off grid camping experience with different camping scenic views to choose from. Even though you feel like you are a world away from civilisation, we are located only 12 MINUTES from the heart of Toowoomba's CBD shopping centre! Less than 5 minutes away from the local cafe's, fuel station, pub, etc. Private camp sites nestled amongst the gumtrees along a seasonal creek offers peace and tranquility at every time of the year. 2-wheel drive access is accessible to some of the campsites on the property but not advised during wet weather. Limited camp sites for 4x4 access ONLY are available at the top of the properties ridge line with views over the valley with mountain views, with complete serenity. What to do whilst you are here: - Sit back and relax in your own peace and quiet - Bird watching - Butterfly watching - Non-invasive gold and thunder egg fossicking in the creek beds - Star gazing (very limited light pollution!) - Easy access to some of QLD’s best mountain bike trails, ie. Jubilee Park trails - Campfires pending fire bans in the area On special occasions, spot the natural Australian wildlife such as water dragons, koala’s, kangaroos and echidnas + a wide variety of birds!
