    Gum Park is a working Cattle Property where our family lives and works full time. We also have a butchery on farm where we process our own beef and pork for sale at local farmer's markets. Gum Park is a certified organic farm, so no chemicals are sprayed on our pastures or anywhere within our property. Our property is at the top of the watershed, so we don't get run off from other properties nearby. We are situated 14 km from the centre of Victor Harbor on the top of Cut Hill. Other towns close by are Pt Elliot (9km) and Mount Compass (14km). The Hipcamp campsite is situated in a paddock setting, nestled up against native scrub.Pitch your tent, camper trailer or caravan into our relatively flat Front Scrub Paddock to enjoy a comfort fire (between May 1 and Nov 30) in a paddock setting with large stringybark trees around you. If you are quiet you may see a kangaroo or two grazing in the evening. You can explore the area around you (without crossing fences) and collect wood for your fire. Front Scrub Paddock is a 3 ha paddock. Crows Nest Road is visible from your campsite, but it still feels secluded because it isn't a busy road and is well screened by native bush. Bring your footy and relax with the kids. Lots of room to enjoy.

    Woodland campsite
    19 ft travel trailer
    Camping on a small slope in a wooded paddock with filtered shade is good anytime of the year and on a 30C day there was just enough breeze up there to get through the evening. I’d love to return in Autumn.
