All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
Limestone valley is a cattle farm on the edge of the township of mole creek which has a supermarket pub take away store and restaurant/brewery. It has the cold Mole Creek running through the middle of the property where you will spot platypus and trout. 43 km from cradle mountain and surrounded by other attractions like the caves, wildlife park, honey farm, alum cliffs, parsons falls, minow falls, devils gullet etc. This site is on the river with some privacy. Cows and the local farm dogs could be in the area and might come over to say hello, the cows will be fenced out of your site. Platypus are seen in the area as well as trout. You’re 2 km away from the public toilets and local pub in the town ship and 270m off the road. You will need to drive through a paddock that is solid with very little chance of getting stuck to the campsite.
