The camp sites that Kambrah offers are great and with plenty of space, amenities and isolation. Kambrah and her husband were extremely friendly and took great care of us. We had so much fun that we ended up staying more time that planned. Location wise is also very convenient whether you want to go for a winery or for a good restaurant, you will have good options close by or even within a ten minute drive.

We had a perfect time watching the eclipse from Kambrah's land. We were also welcomed with eclipse gift bags which was so sweet!

Happy Camper at Wine Trail Dream
19 ft travel trailer ·
My dog and I had the pleasure of discovering the Wine Trail Dream as a place to camp and experience the Eclipse with new friends Kambrah and other camping and celestial enthusiasts. Not only is the property lovely and well maintained, Kambrah is a great host and surprised all of us by hosting a wonderful eclipse event. The area around Hye, TX is a great place to visit, and if the chance arises again I'll be back to the Wine Trail Dream.

A beautiful property and conveniently located right off highway, yet it was pretty quiet. Bathrooms were very nice and clean and we used the outdoor shower. No hot water but it is warm outside so it was fine.

Very Peaceful
The site was very peaceful despite being close to 290. Also we were the only campers that weekend. We were there in the middle of a drought and it was very hot, so the grass was very brown. However, it was close to some of the events we were attending and it's directly on the Texas wine trail and very close to many wineries which is an added bonus. Kambrah was very friendly and let us use her outdoor shower, which was greatly appreciated on this very hot weekend.
