ATTENTION: 'A Country Shot' coffee van will be onsite each morning during the Labour Day and Easter weekends. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, frappes, muffins, cakes, slices and cookies will be available. Welcome to Somerville Park, a 500 acre sheep farm at Fosterville. There are a variety of beautiful campsites suitable for self-contained guests who have their own toilet/shower facilities and drinking water. There is also a toilet in a central location on one section of the property available for the convenience of campers. Fires are permitted out of fire restriction times and feel free to bring your furry friends, making sure they're leashed at all times. The farm is completely surrounded by the Wellsford state forest which offers bush walking and many tracks for bike riding. Mt Sugarloaf which is situated south of the property provides a great hike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets create beautiful reflections on the water in the numerous dams on the property. Rainfall can restrict access to sites on the property. The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast.

Camping at Somerville Park seems like a delightful experience with a welcoming atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the friendly and attentive hosts who make everyone feel right at home. The campsite offers plenty of space, allowing for privacy and peaceful interactions with nature, including frequent kangaroo sightings. While most feedback is positive, a few reviews noted that some sites can be noisy due to proximity to roads.

This place is huge, and communication was key! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing camping experience. The property also has toilets conveniently located around the area, which is great for those without a campervan with amenities. Overall, a fantastic spot!

Our group of 12 had a lovely time staying at Somerville park. The hosts are lovely and the sky was so clear at night! We also loved the proximity of the state forest and Bendigo. Would certainly come back
