This is a magnificent place. Absolute solitude in a magnificent farmland setting with views of Signal Peak, Mount Abrupt and natural bush. Just 10kms from Dunkeld, Sam and Rod have set it up beautifully with a variety of sites to choose from. The whole process was flawless (apart from me failing to make a note of the gate lock code and having to get Rod to bale us out). We’d love to go back sometime!

A great location with wonderful views. Friendly owner and enjoyed the stay. The space is wide and can be quite private.

Pretty location and close to Dunkel
4 m travel trailer ·
Fantastic and very pretty location so close to Dunkeld and many of the hikes. Really flat ground to camp on and having access to a fire pit was a bonus on such cold nights. It was very private and the sites were spaced out. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the instructions for accessing the site easy to follow. The only downside was that it was blowing a gale, and though there were no big trees on the site, so we felt safe, it wasn't very sheltered. Would definitely come back.

Sam popped by in the after on our 1st night to check we were settled in. Were we ever! We had the place all to ourselves. Plenty of fire wood for the amazing fire pits. Very neat and tidy spots with logs to sit on and amazing views of the Grampians. We loved it and will definitely return. Thank you Sam.
