Million dollar view
14 ft pop-up camper
Paula and John made the experience perfect. The most level spot is on the gravel road right next to the improved spot with 2 Adirondack chairs and a fire ring and plenty of dried seasoned wood. Property has a decent slope. No risk of pooling should it rain. The spot was pretty private. You could see the roof of the house, but that’s about it. The site has a million dollar view of the adjacent mountains and valley. No power, no sewer, no water hook up, no bathroom/port a John. The little town of Meadows Of Dan (5 min away) appears to be a rest/resupply/dinning pull off for Blue Ridge Parkway. A few cool wineries in the area. If you like CAMPING, and exploring the area, this place is for you. I had a great time! Thanks Paula & John!

Quiet, serene, wonderful view. Hosts were very nice and helpful! Nice trail for waking. Beautiful, woodsy property. Adirondack chairs at the Fire pit and free firewood was a real plus!

Great spot, nice folks
27 ft travel trailer · With pets
John and Paula live on the property and were excellent host. They offered us recommendations for sights and activities in the area but also allowed us privacy during our stay. Their land was beautiful and well-kept. We loved the short walking trail on the property and the view. There is water near the camp site, a fire ring and firewood available which we didn’t end up using but we appreciated the extra thought. There were plenty of places to set up camp and John was able to give us recommendations.
