Finney’s Hipcamp offers a charming escape with its beautiful setting nestled amid trees near Finney Creek. Visitors highlight the serene ambiance enriched by birdsong and the welcoming hosts who cherish the land. Many enjoy the refreshing creek for swimming after hikes, and the nearby town of Concrete adds a quaint touch to the experience. Overall, guests appreciate the spacious, private campsites and the farm's fresh produce, though the presence of mosquitoes and limited outhouse facilities may be minor considerations for some.
Finney’s Hipcamp was such a lovely getaway. The river access was amazing and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. There were so many birds in the forest singing. Very relaxing experience. We met chickens in the garden, a curious cat, and a very happy dog. Concrete is absolutely charming and the surrounding wilderness speaks for itself.
Beautiful setting on small farm nestled deep in trees near Finney Creek. Site 4 is about a 2 min walk from parking area down a narrow path. The same path ends at the creek and we swam in it both days we camped here. It’s magical and just the right temp to cool off after hot hikes. The site was large and could accommodate a couple tents or a larger tent. Very private and serene with plentiful bird song. The hosts have been caretakers of this land for many years and it’s clear they cherish it. This is an excellent spot to stay for all your Cascade adventures. Concrete is only a 5 min drive away oozes with character and there are a couple restaurants and a small grocery for supplies.
The host at this location was very kind and offered great hospitality! Jennie allowed us to switch to campsite #7 and helped ensure we were grouped together with our friends. FYI sites 1-4 do not allow fire pits. Our friends stayed in #5 & #6.
We were in a great spot for group camping! Very close but enough distance to have some privacy. The old growth woods are beautiful, calm, and serene.
The creek was an amazing treat with 80+ degree weather. Only about a 5 min walk, we spent a full day enjoying the sandy beach and river rocks.
The site was beautiful, keep an eye out for stinging nettle though.
The outhouses were well maintained and clean!
Very nice people. Awesome, peaceful creek down a short trail. Beautiful, clean farm land. 10/10
