Tommy's campsite offers a peaceful and private retreat with plenty of nature to explore. Guests consistently highlight the beauty of the surroundings and Tommy's friendly and accommodating nature as a host. While a couple of visitors noted some practical considerations such as the need for AWD vehicles and the presence of ticks, the general sentiment remains overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return. The well-maintained sites and the opportunity to see wildlife and clear night skies add to the overall charm of the location.

Peace and quiet!!!
16 ft travel trailer
Perfect spot for a night of peace and quiet. Tommy offered to let me stay a little longer but I had plans to be elsewhere. Totally recommend it and I would definitely stay here again!!

I saw a shooting star!
Tent
Private and quiet, easy to find. The host saw me pulling in then biked down, from his house to greet me. Tommy explained the land how and it all connects with other areas historically under my questioning, which was fascinating. I did some exploring of the property when he left. There are a couple, at least, other areas to camp than the main open site. The homestead is so quiet. I'd swear I heard elk or some other animal bugeling? The cities are far enough away that I was able to see stars and a shooting star!!

Directions were accurate, trust the lat/lon and look for the arrow pointing to the left that takes you down to the campsites. I think I heard turkeys in the morning and some unusual insects at night. I loved the location. I hadn't been in that area of PA before.

A Place of You Own
Tent
This place was very private and peaceful. The sites are well wooded so they stayed cool and shady even in summer heat. The firepit was well built and the space well-maintained. This was the perfect place to spend my week away from the world. I’d definitely return.

Peaceful and beautiful spot. The host was low-key. Perfect place to hang out by the fire after a day on the river.

20 ft campervan
This was a beautiful spot to park our camper van for 2 nights as we explored Morgantown, Coopers Rock, Deckers Creek Rail-Trail, and the WV Botanic Garden. Tommy is a terrific host!
