We would definitely recommend camping at “Da Lazy Bear” This was our second time camping there and we absolutely loved it! If your idea of camping is solitude, with great hiking trails and Mountains surrounding you then this is the place for you. The electric was a bonus, no need for ice because our camper has a refrigerator. Our host stopped by and gave us some fresh picked blackberries were delicious with our breakfast. I would give this campsite a 15 out of 10!

This is a nice little spot set against the forest hills with a little stream that runs down the mountain. It was very peaceful and had everything I needed (make sure you have your own toilet). Jontra was very helpful and easy to get in touch with.

Da Lazy Bear is Da Best!
20 ft travel trailer
Da Lazy Bear = Peace, Love & Joy in Nature’s Beauty. The campsite is nestled in the most serene, peaceful & beautiful “Hollar” in Wild West Virginia! Gorgeous forests surrounded us as we explored hiking trails that meandered through the woods. The campsite is enormous & has everything you need for a comfortable night in the mountains (electric, water hose with well water, fire pit with fire wood & picnic table) Our host was available if we needed anything. (He came down in his buggy to show us where we could hike, super friendly & the story of their farm is amazing!) Some people love camping near other campers but we love camping in solitude which is exactly what this Hip Camp is all about. Our 2 pups absolutely loved it too. We will return 💕
