We are small farmers, with 120 acres. We grow wheat and oats, have some sheep and cows. The cows are very friendly and love to come and see what you are doing.
There is a small creek running threw the middle of our property and 2 farm dams. Drummonds nature reserve is not far away and has 2 clay pan wetlands and some unusual native flowers.
Our camp site is nestled amongst the wandoo and York gum trees near a small winter creek. There is classic wheatbelt cropping happening in the surrounding paddocks.

Brookdale farm was great - awesome secluded spot all to yourself with plenty of room. Geoffrey was a great host, came to say g’day after we had arrived but wasn’t intrusive and left us to enjoy the serenity of the farm. Easy to find with good directions from Geoffrey once we were on the property. Would love to come back when it’s cooler and greener. The flies were friendly and there were ants but it’s the bush in summer so to be expected. The kids had great fun riding and it was great to have the space for them to do so. The stars were also fantastic - thanks Geoff for offering up your place for us to enjoy!

Great little camp
16 ft travel trailer
What a great little spot, can’t wait to return later in the year when the crops are in full swing. It’s easy to find Geoffrey kept us informed even meet us and showed us to our camp. Camp is in a great location. I’m sure the little creek behind would look great with some water in it

Wonderful spot, fenced in for dogs which was great. Perfect for the setup and relax sort of trip. We have already booked our return visit! Geoff was lovely and directions and instructions to find the camp made it very easy to navigate to.

Brookdale farm is the most amazing place to switch off. We had a beautiful weekend enjoying the views and serenity. I especially enjoyed hanging out with the cows. The hosts are wonderful and the campsite is very private with no noises bothering you. Just you, the trees and the stars. Will definitely be back time and time again. 5 stars.

Peaceful haven
Tent
This is my first time as a Hipcamper and I couldn't have made a better choice.
The farm was easy to find and Geoffrey was waiting to show me where to camp. Because of the neighbour harvesting, I got a beautiful spot on a rise, lots of shade and great views. It was peaceful and relaxing. The wheat stubble surrounding you is golden and makes you feel like you're on an island! Lots of birds to keep you company and lots of trees to check for critters at night. Amazing skies. Will be back again and again.

Exactly as described, and the little getaway my dog and I were looking for. Big skies and beautiful colours out there.
