What an incredible start to our trip! We were the only ones there... Kids got to feed the alpacas, sheep and Violet the cow, as well as pick and eat grapes while we chatted to Rex and had our very well priced, private wine tasting. Was so magical waking on their land with nothing to see but great open space. Exceptionally well priced for the most beautiful experience!
Great camping spot with plenty of space, even though there were two other campers. The owners were friendly, and the alpacas were a cute bonus! Facilities were clean and well-maintained. A peaceful, enjoyable stay overall.
We loved our stay at Downderry. Rex and Jan were so lovely and we particularly enjoyed the wine tasting, all the wines were delicious! Will definitely be coming back to stay here again when we are in the area.
