5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest. You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. Herron Point Farm Stay

Located 5 minutes from the Forrest Highway and less than 10 minutes' drive to the beautiful and popular Herron Point. The farm offers the country lifestyle without travelling for hours. With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 31st March inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

This is a beautiful area to explore the wilderness through bush trails, coastline, fishing, finding orchids or just relaxing and escaping the hustle and bustle of life. Campfires are subject to restrictions and if allowed, campers need to be bring their own self contained firepit and dispose of after. There is potable water available. Situated in the southwest of WA, just 4km from Northcliffe, on Boorara Rd, with bitumen road frontage, is the Northcliffe Nature Park. Pemberton is also close by and offers winery visits with long relaxing lunches This park caters for only fully self contained travellers, so therefore must provide their own toilet, shower, water and cooking facilities. We do provide rubbish disposal and your pets are welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them. The nearest dump point for waste disposal and potable water is at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area. - Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals. -Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.30pm. - No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment, -Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests. -If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues. -No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free. -You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area). -Please take away all rubbish. -No big party groups. -Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours. -Check out of campsite by 11 am please. -If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped. - Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc. -As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals. -You approach all animals at your own risk -Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc. -Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely. -You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Make sure you read and make yourself very aware of the guidelines, as your safety is very important to us. -Arrival during day light hours is a must please arrival by 6pm, for yours and our animals safety. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. We have 3 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. Proceeds go back into feeding livestock and the maintenance of our farm.
