Peaceful
My pups and I enjoyed walking the beach and the trails in the woods. It just worked out that I had the entire place to myself! That was a good thing as sites are close together. Cal was an attentive host--not intruding but there in minutes when asked. We spoke about his planned improvements--great stuff coming soon. Couldn't work up the courage to take an outdoor shower in 50 degree weather but the hot water was still available. He is planning a bathhouse. Would return just to see what happens next.

Coming Back!

Where to start? It’s the Driftless, so there’s that. Lovely camping in well-maintained campground. Quiet. Beautiful Black River running past the property with a huge sandbar for picnicking or just relaxing. Nice trails provided for getting up and down from campground to river. The firewood provided is well-dried. I will be back again for sure. The best of the Midwest. ❤️
