    Welcome to the cabins at Wendego Lodge on Tranquille Lake. Enjoy your 100% off-grid, rustic cabin in the middle of the BC wilderness. You are right on the lake with beautiful views and may see bald eagles, osprey and moose. This is an all-season property: swimming, boating, hiking and quadding in the SUMMER, hunting in the FALL, and ice fishing, snowmobiling (100s of km of trail right from your door) in the WINTER. All year long fish for natural rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon. This is a rustic 100% off-grid experience! There is no electricity in the cabins and cold running water in the summer. SLEEPING: The cabin has two bedrooms separated by curtains from the living space and features: One queen Two single bunks One double futon HEATING/COOKING:There is a wood stove for heat and cooking and wood is supplied and cold running water in the summer months. A wood burning BBQ is available for use and a huge upright smoker for your fish haul (bring your own propane cylinder). BATHROOMS: There are no bathrooms in the cabin. Flush toilets and hot showers are available in the wash house steps away in the summer and in the lodge in the other months. ELECTRICITY: The cabins have no electricity. Please bring your own lanterns and flashlights. WATER FUN: The cabin is RIGHT ON THE WATER and in the summer we have dock for jumping off of or launching a boat. We have kayaks, floaties and paddle boards available on a first come first served basis. Boat rental with 6.5 HP motor also available for $99 a day. Ice fishing is excellent in the winter. WE PROVIDE: dishes, cups, mugs, cutlery, cooking pots and some utensils. YOU NEED TO BRING: whatever you need for sleeping (bags or blankets and sheets, pillows), food, drinking water, and personal items such as towels and toiletries. Firewood and water (from the lake) for washing is provided. There is no fridge so you will need to bring a cooler with ice for your perishables. Town is an hour away. CHECK-OUT: Please leave the cabin clean and tidy and pack out all your garbage and left-over food. ACCESS: We are located 50 km down a logging road and we advise access only by 4-wheel drive vehicles although many cars have made it in the summer. In the winter, access is an ice road. Drivable but slippery. We request that you call/email when you hit the gravel road 50 km away so we know when to expect you. You have access to the lodge property, lake, dock, trails, grass area and kayaks/floaties/paddle boards when available. Boat rental available with gas for $99 per day. Pets welcome with a $35 per pet per stay fee.

    The Klinker Opal Property is located in the mountains approximately 40 kilometres by road from Vernon, BC, and is situated at an elevation of about 1500 metres above sea level.All trips to the Klinker Opal Mine leave from a pre-designate site, and you must have your own vehicle. No transportation is provided. Pre-registration is required! Digging trips operate from mid June to mid September weather permitting. The property is readily accessible by most two wheel drive vehicles but parts of the road is very rough.     This charming log house is situated on a family owned and operated 160-acre forested property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Constructed in 1984, this beautiful log house was family built with wood sourced directly from the property. All water dispensed inside the log house is pumped directly from a year-round running spring behind the building. You are more than welcome to bottle up some spring water to take home! Our property is the perfect place to unwind and de-stress as you take in the picturesque views and fresh mountain air. Whether you are here to take it easy as a family or get a group of friends together for a celebration, you will feel right at home. Entering the front door at ground level you will find a king bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and large living/dining area with access to the rear patio. There is a staircase leading upstairs to the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and another bedroom which sleeps 3 with a bathroom just outside. The basement hosts an entertainment area with satellite TV (option for HDMI input), foosball table, board games and a beautiful 10 x 10 ft leather couch. There is also another bedroom with a queen bed and a backup single mattress which can be laid out. Let the kids loose outside in the large garden area. There will be some sporting equipment for guest use but feel free to bring your own. Go on a hike through the forest or relax on the deck by the pool and hot tub. End the night with some smores around the fire pit (weather and season permitting). We also have miles upon miles of trails that go all over the mountain, that you can access directly from the property. Ideal for ATVs or side-by-sides. You should receive nothing short of a five-star experience when staying at our property. If you have any requests prior to your stay we will always do our best to accommodate.

    Welcome to 7 Sparks Ranch! Enjoy a relaxing getaway with 7 Sparks Ranch. Consider extending your stay to fully unwind and explore everything the area has to offer. A beautiful creek flows right by the campsite, dip your feet in. You can go for walks or nap under the Aspens! Spring note - snow has been melting and the ground is unthawing - please feel free to send me a message if you have any question about the gravel road. It can be muddy and bumpy while the road awaits its winter repairs. We are one hour outside of Kamloops on a maintained public gravel road, however AWD or 4WD recommended during late fall to late spring. We have no minimum stay but highly recommend two nights. Do not use google maps to find our place - it can be very confusing. Google maps may show coming to our property from Savona but the easiest drive is from Kamloops. Please use the directions that get emailed to you just before your stay. To get here head to the Kamloops airport then follow Tranquille Criss Creek Road. We do not recommend traveling this road in the dark if you are not familiar with it! Wonderfully private! Come give our land some love as it recovers from the 2021 Sparks Lake forest fire. Acres and acres to hike, mountain bike and snowshoe. Surrounded by crown land there is no lack of space to explore and easy access to forest service roads to quad and bike. Many lakes near by for fishing and kayaking. Wildlife galore! There are wild flowers and plants so come forage and explore. Disconnect from the busyness of city life! Coming soon - guided hikes, foraging and information about local medicinal plants and a soon to be Apothecary on site! Detailed directions available after booking!

The look out glamping tent has the best views and it the most secluded. You need an all wheel drive or a 4 by 4 to get up there. The lower bowl tent and the pitch your own tent has the grassy area to chill out on but has Sketchy WIFI. RVs can park has sketchy wifi as well. A short little walk up the road and you will get better wifi. The tent site is in the lower bowl and is beside the lower glamping tent. Pitch it anywhere on the grass and enjoy. This sit is just off the highway so it can be a little noisy with traffic depending on the time.
