This 5 acre property is a quiet forest oasis. The property features a large 4 season yurt. The property is off grid, but features a solar panel electricity in the yurt, a wood stove, fire pit, BBQ, and outhouse.  

There are plenty of lakes/rivers close by perfect for cooling down. The forest is full of edible mushrooms in the right seasons.

We have a beautiful, densely treed, and well-groomed 1-acre piece of property in desirable cottage country that's craving your company!

The mature trees, corner lot and private road offer seclusion, tranquility and  peaceful atmosphere. The terrain is steep and hilly; however there are flatter areas to pitch a tent or level a trailer. The site boasts serenity as it remains untouched to significant changes to honor its original beauty and encourage its sustainability. 

 It is within walking distance to the world-famous, Panam Summer Games host " The Minden White Water Preserve/Rapids", which is used for kayaking and hiking. Walking distance to a public beach on the desirable Horseshoe Lake, part of a 3 chain lake, where you can fish, swim and relax in clean, sparkling waters. Our oasis welcomes you! Choose from two options.

Beneath The Stars Tenting Escape - tent or RV(up to 25 feet) site with an outhouse

Rustic Cozy Cabin - ideal for a family or group. Currently can sleep 5 adults comfortably, or 6 with small children.

We are in a very desirable location; only 10 minute drive to the village of Minden, and surrounded by natural beauty and activities for nature lovers!

In the town of Mactier, and also close to Port Carling, Bracebridge, Bala, Gravenhurst.  Google Maps will be more accurate for directions vs Waze.

Great lake for swimming and boating- not too big, not too small.

Good fishing!  (Bass, Pike, sometimes Pickerel!)

There are 100 magical acres to explore with nature trails and a beautiful swimming pond. We have 2 stand up paddle boards and a canoe free to use, first come first serve.  The site is ideal for every type of camper, from tents to RVs. RVs can expect a pull-through site that will require some leveling. 

Campfires are permitted (within local regulation), pets are welcome, no more than two.   Please note that there is no restroom on-site so please plan accordingly.

Firewood is provided at no extra charge.  Hot tub rental available on first come first serve basis.
