The 110-acre estate has been overtaken with Red Cedars at the front of the property, and also has a mature forest at the rear of the property. It has become a sort of refuge for wildlife. Deer, bunnies, and even Coyotes roam freely on what has over the past 20 or 30 years become a young forest. This is a place of quiet reflection. however, it is also a great place to reunite with loved ones over exciting conversations, music, and drinks over the flame of a campfire. However, we exercise a quiet hours policy starting at 11pm. No loud music or loud talking. We are in close proximity to the first and most prominent vineyard in PEC. (Wauppos Estates). They have some of the best wine you will find here, and spectacular gardens on the lake with a south-facing dock. Grab a glass of wine and wander the grounds. They also have a petting zoo, ice cream, and a market where you can grab food, drinks, or some fresh local produce. Nearby there are blueberry and strawberry fields where you can pick your own fruit. Right around the corner from us we have our favourite wine maker at Amanda’s Winery.

We recommend that you park on the upper portion of this driveway/road and walk or use an ATV to travel on the trail to the lake. As mentioned, there is about a 40 ft incline just as you approach the clearing down by the lake . Please wear running/walking shoes and descend slowly down either of the 2 trails provided. The trail "Easy Street" is definitely an easier descent and climb. An additional outhouse is located at the top of the incline to the lake. The gravel/asphalt trail down by the lake is the steeper of the 2 trails. Fenella is a small village about 7 min away that has a large convenience/ grocery/Beer store as well as gas stations and Canabis beyond belief ! Go carts, food trucks and the best Butter Tart Factory as well! Warkworth is a town east of us about 20 min and Cobourg is 20 min South of us. Many shopping experiences available. Primrose Donkey Sanctuary is down the road a few minutes which we highly suggest visiting. Look their hours up before planning a visit! We have easy access up our road about 1 km to the Northumberland Trails where you can ride your horses, cycle, ride your ATVs,walk or jog. We have goats and can provide goat walks on our own trails. Goat walks are about 30 minutes generally and $15 per walk. Our own Free Range eggs are available for $7/doz as well as firewood for $10 per bundle Dogs are welcome as long as they are constantly on a leash, as we have chickens that free range! We ask that you bring your own water and hydro please. We hosted 35-40 endurance horses and their riders in August of 2022! We welcome tents and all trailers!

We own part of a drumlin. Tent camping on the mountain. Trailer and RV parking. Flat areas on the lower parts. We are growing many berries and fruits. There are duck , chicken and rabbits. Farm fresh eggs are available. You can walk the property admire our many gardens. There is a quarry to swim in a short distance away at Seymore Provincal Park , Raney Suspension Bridge and Ferris Provincal park are all close by. Campbellford downtown is 1 km. There is biking trails, atv trails. Chocolate factory, cheese factory, many craft brewing houses. Plenty of restaurants. Giant tiger is 450 meters away yet you are out in the country

Our land is very private and beautifully sheltered by trees all around the campsite. There is an open field as well that also has trees on the outskirts. A video is available upon request! Fenella is a small village about 7 min away that has a large convenience/ grocery/Beer store as well as gas stations and Canabis beyond belief ! Go carts, food trucks and the best Butter Tart Factory as well! Warkworth is a town east of us about 20 min and Cobourg is 20 min South of us. Many shopping experiences available. Primrose Donkey Sanctuary is down the road a few minutes which we highly suggest visiting. Look their hours up before planning a visit! We have easy access up our road about 1 km to the Northumberland Trails where you can ride your horses, cycle, ride your ATVs,walk or jog. We have goats and can provide goat walks on our own trails. Goat walks are about 30 minutes generally and $15 per walk. Our own Free Range eggs are available for $7/doz as well as firewood for $10 per bundle Dogs are welcome as long as they are constantly on a leash, as we have chickens that free range! We ask that you bring your own water and hydro please. We hosted 35-40 endurance horses and their riders in August of 2022! We welcome tents and all trailers!
