A great private place to enjoy camping! Surrounded by large spruce trees and nature. Small pond and creek. Chalet sleeps up to 5 comfortably. Plan for some tasty outdoor cooking! We provide a barbecue and propane. Fire pit with free firewood and hot dog sticks. Nice place for singles, couples, small families and pets. Feel at peace surrounded by nature. Pet friendly with great walking trails for day and night time. Lawn and board games with a large 6 seater picnic table by the fire pit. In the summer enjoy a hot shower in nature! Propane included. A beautiful private nature getaway, where you can relax, let go and rejuvenate. There are so many good healing factors when you can just relax and let nature take its course! Come experience! We are nestled in the heart of the Sturgeon Valley across from the Sturgeon river. 25 mins North of downtown Edmonton. Light packing trip, - food, drinking water, shower towel, personal toiletries and insect repellent. Included in the Chickadee Chalet, All bedding and pillows to sleep 5 comfortably. 1 queen, 1 single and 1 double in the loft. Dinette booth to eat and play games. Plates, cups, glasses, pot, pans, utensils, napkins, foil, plastic wrap, lanterns, toaster, coffee maker, can opener, utensils, microwave, crockpot and mini fridge. Barbecue and fire table in the gazebo. Hot dog sticks. Private outhouse Across from the Sturgeon River nestled in the heart of the Sturgeon Valley Available close by, Fishing, swimming pools, vegetable farm and petting zoo 10 mins away! Ravens Valley- The Chickadee Chalet

You gotta stay here!!!

My girlfriend and I had a girls weekend with our pups, and we stayed at the Chickadee Chalet for 3 days and it was the absolute best time I’ve ever had camping in a cabin!! The retreat was absolutely stunning, with so many amenities provided for us, including a fireplate with a gazebo for when it rained (even tho the weather was absolutely gorgeous) with a bbq, inside the cabin was beds (provided sleeping essentials so we didn’t have to bring any bedding) a fireplace for night if it got cool, a microwave, mini fridge , it was absolutely perfect, all we had to bring was food and pack a light bag! Our pups had soooo much fun running around the big lawn/field (so much room to play lawn games like we did - which they also provide if you have little ones) some mini walks, the outdoor shower was perfect to cool off, the sound of the nature around us (only downside was the traffic you could hear from the highway but that wasn’t nothing major) Carmen the Owner was absolutely the sweetest, she showed us around and where everything was, she made us feel welcomed and was available if we needed anything, she was so incredible especially with our pups!! Overall we had the absolute best time, our experience was magical, we will definitely be coming back and staying at the retreat again during the Summer months - and with it being so close to us, it’s a home away from home! Thank you so very much Carmen for giving us the best experience, can’t wait to do it again!! xx

Ravens Valley- The Chickadee Chalet

A must to book at this retreat!!

This retreat is a dream come true. I was alone surrounded by nature. I highly recommend people to stay here. The host Carmen is so sweet and definetly goes above and beyond for her guest. The cabin was so cozy and when you sit at the table and look outside it's nature all around. There are trails to walk through and enjoy nature. I booked for another week there. And will continue to book here and it has now become my favorite home away from home.

Great Weekend Escape from Edmonton

Had a girl's trip here over the weekend and Carmen was such a lovely host with excellent communication! It was easy to get to and very close to Edmonton, so it's an ideal spot for friends and families to take weekend trips. The tents are well maintained and cozy. We really liked all of the items provided for preparing our food too! But the best part was the lawn games. :) We took two pups with us who also had a blast. There are some nice short walking trails that are great for enjoying nature while not wandering too far. Would definitely come back!
