Please note tent camping is a rain-or-shine activity. :)
Loved the tent camping experience, beautiful nature walks in the area. However there were a few suspicious people walking around late hours, not sure if they were local residents or random stranglers.
Scott’s property is beautiful! It is surrounded by big trees and feels secluded, but is just a short drive from Santa Cruz and other attractions. The campsite is rustic but has enough amenities to be comfortable, like running water, a trash can, and composting toilet. Scott was communicative and friendly, which helped during our last-minute reservation.
Gorgeous land, I got some good nature therapy! Unlike the other sites this one is built out a little bit with a deck, lights, and electricity. Thank you Scott for your hospitality!
The bathroom thing was a bit weird. Not “ quiet” as advertised. Very loud party music, not saying it was at camp but it was very close. The place was clean and the tent spots were flat. I could not found the water spout but honestly I didn’t ask either.
