Open space., beautiful views of the dam. Clear skies at night reveal the milky way in all its glory. Porta pottie toilets available, which are handy if you don’t have a toilet on board.

What an amazing family stop over! We had a fantastic time at this Hipcamp! Our host was so friendly and welcoming, and their three kids played with ours, which made our stay even more relaxing and fun. The dam was perfect for our kids. They loved using the boat and kayak that were provided, and it kept them entertained ALL day! Overall, it was a simple and perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful experience staying on Kate’s property. There were only a couple of others staying here despite the nearby Elvis Festival in town. Kate was welcoming and extremely kind and concerned for our welfare when storms were forecast and assisted me and another group to move to higher ground. The property is very well maintained and the amenities were spotless. I’ll happily recommend and stay again.

Perfect place for a peaceful, lazy few days over the New Year. Well set up bush loo (shower will be ready soon) plus plenty of space and convenient for Parkes. Kate, her husband and Jack the Jack Russell were welcoming and friendly and the views from the top of the property and the clear night skies were fantastic. Would highly recommend!
