Welcome to Wattle Valley Farm!
Nestled on 100 stunning acres along the iconic Wollombi Brook, our property is a haven for native wildlife. During your stay, you might spot wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goannas, kookaburras, or black cockatoos—nature’s most charming neighbors!
Explore our property on walking trails that lead to local aboriginal cave art and a scenic river walk, perfect for reconnecting with the great outdoors.
Located in the heart of the Wollombi Valley and Hunter Valley wine region, Wattle Valley Farm is your ideal base for adventure. The historic Wollombi village, with its vibrant cafes and famous tavern, is just five minutes away, while the Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a picturesque 30–40-minute drive.
Discover nature, wine, and relaxation—all in one unforgettable escape!
Wattle Valley Farm is a spacious and well-maintained campsite with clean amenities and friendly hosts. It's located near Wollombi, offering a serene environment with plenty of room for privacy. The river provides a refreshing spot for swimming, and there are bushwalks and wildlife to explore. While the campgrounds are generally peaceful, some guests noted occasional noise from other campers and nearby events.
The owner is not very helpful, he basically rejected everything we have been asking for. For example we asked if we can check in slightly earlier than 3pm if there is no guest before us, the answer is no. There is absolutely no reception in the camping area. When we try to borrow WiFi to give family a quick update, the answer is NO. The site to bathroom is 10min walk, it is fine during the day, but absolutely terrifying if you need to go at night! I have never met an owner that is so unhelpful.
Great location, Matt directed me to the perfect little spot of my campervan, so it felt completely private amongst all the trees. Couple of neat bush walks to do and a river to swim in. Great location.
Great spot on the river with lots of trees and animals around and even short bush walks. The toilets and hot showers were also a plus but being dog friendly and having fire pits makes this place even better, will definitely return! Thanks Matt and Jenna! (:
Great location for a weekend getaway. Matt and Jenna were so friendly and the property was beautiful. We saw a huge Goanna and heard from other campers that some people spotted some platypus. Being able to purchase firewood was very handy too, it was so relaxing. We will be coming back.
