Cool, relaxed place to come and stay! We are on the Blue Ridge Parkway between milepost 225/226. Our glampers have electric, water and bathroom. Wifi TV, comfy queen size bed with linens. Cooking utensils, firepit. Enjoy great hikes in our area, walk the creeks or just sit and relax by the firepit. Williamson Mead & Brewing just up the hill, Cumberland Knob Hiking nearby. Short drive to Sparta, NC. Restaurants, Laconia Brewery and grocery approx 9 miles. Galax and Music Center 20 minutes up Parkway.Welcome to our 1959 Avion "Bella" which has all the comforts of home but gives you the opportunity to camp and enjoy a night out in nature. Campsite has electric, water, wi-fi access, firepit and camp chairs. Also has a shower and composting toilet, full kitchen and linens. Located on property at Wild Hare Retreat, its easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cumberland Knob, Sparta and Galax. We do allow small pets with advance notice when booking.

Perfect spot right off the Blue Ridge. This was my last stop on my solo ride and the camper was perfect for my needs. Major points for the fire pit being preset so all you had to do was light it up. Grounds are very nice, open, and relaxing. Just up the road - half mile - is a meadery that is really good. The bonus breakfast of eggs and toast (camper stocked) you can make was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Altogether, cool spot, cool people, and, I heard, cool cats. Will probably have to resume my PKWY tour here.

The camper was very comfortable and clean. It was a very nice place to stay just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed our stay very much.
