Nestled in the heart of Almaguin Highlands, this small, sustainable farm allows you to experience as much or as little as you want to of homesteading and/or small scale farming. Meander down our trails that weave through our forest to your campsite. The peace and quiet of the nature surrounding you is only interrupted by crickets and frogs, coming to sing once dusk hits. Lovely peaceful stay at the back of a farm! Short walk from the car, and the extra table/outhouse were useful additions. And a short drive from Sundridge for a coffee or beach trip. And very close to eagle lake!

so happy we came!
Tent
You could not ask for better hosts than Anna and Jeff! They went above and beyond to truly make us feel like their guests, ensuring we had everything we needed. They were always responsive to communication and so kind. The property is a great spot for 1-2 tents in the woods on their little farm. Firewood and water are provided. It was so sweet to be around the pigs, chickens and dogs, too. It's close enough for a day trip to North Bay (35 min) and Lake Nipissing. Eagle Lake is 5-10 minutes away as well. 10/10 recommend!

I really enjoyed camping at Anna And Jeff’s forest site. The actual site was short walk from the parking lot, past chickens, ducks and a pond and the campsite itself was tucked away in the amongst the trees. Jeff showed me the way to the site and it was very nicely set up with a dining table, four chairs, bench, fire pit, stove, washing up bowls etc. and a nice clean outhouse. Jeff provided firewood, paper for starting and drinking and washing water. Anna and Jeff were a pleasure to meet and went above and beyond when my motorcycle failed to start, loaning me a booster for the day and even coming out to rescue me nearby (which wasn’t required in the end!). They were the nicest hosts! I was looking for a base camp for a couple of nights to explore the area and this spot was just what I wanted … private, peaceful and comfortable. I would happily come back to stay with them again.

Super wild nature experience
Tent · With kids
Jeffrey and Anna were amazing. It was super wild nature experience for us. They have also very nice and impressive farm near by.it was perfect site, with all the things that needed. Water to wash dishes, compost toliet, even a teble with chairs. Solar lights, and more.. Their kindness were endless. They let our kids to pick eggs and they introduce us to their other animals in the farm. We will definitely come buck.
