Lakepoint is part of a 300+ acre property and you will be surrounded by tranquil water and mature trees. You will have access to a private shallow sandy beach. Whether you’re a tent camper, trailer traveller, or motorhome enthusiast, this secluded haven is your perfect retreat. Imagine escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life to arrive a a one-of-a-kind campsite that is all your own. No distractions, just peace and quiet to connect with your loved ones. Enjoy all that Manitoulin Island has to offer (waterfalls, biking, swimming, hiking, music, etc.) then arrive back to your secluded campsite where you can unwind and relax in your private oasis. The site is available as a tent site or with a motorhome for your comfort. The capacity and rules for the site differ depending on how it is booked. You will have access to 500+ feet of waterfrontage. You will have a private shallow bay for swimming with kids or the wide-open deep lake for those looking for deep water. Whether you’re a tent camper, trailer traveller, or motorhome enthusiast, this secluded haven is your perfect retreat. There are plenty of flat sites where tents can be put up and a gravel area for parking your cars, trailer or motorhome. Dogs are welcome to roam free as long as their waste is picked up and disposed of. This is an off-grid site with no water or electrical hookups. There is a picnic table outside for eating and family games. Guests need to take all waste with them and leave no trace. There is a firepit, but fires are not permitted during July and August given the fire risk. The site includes parking for two cars, additional cars can be added at an extra cost. Extra cars can be added under the "extras" section.

Magical Trip

We loved camping on Sherri's land. The site is magical. There are beautiful views in every direction and the sunsets are mindblowing. Sherri was a great host and answered all of our questions. She checked in to see how we were doing, and sent a lovely message as we were in our way out. This was our first HipCamp experience and now will be the first if many thanks to Sherri.

Sherri was wonderful and easy to deal with. The campsite was absolutely perfect. You could tell all of the detail that went into its planning. The water was amazing as well. Nice flat ground to set up tent - covered in clean wood chips as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Family and Private Getaway

BEST PRIVATE GETAWAY! This spot was hands down a 10/10 location. We booked the spot just one week before we arrived and couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived. It was perfect for our family of 4 and offered plenty of privacy, space, great amenities and easy access by car. Sherri, you and your husband were so kind and helpful with any questions we had and very responsive in a timely manner. My only regret is not staying longer. We will certainly be back next year for the next adventure.

A magical oasis

This property is so beautiful. My friends and I had the most magical camping weekend. Perfect swimming location, magical cedar grove, secluded so your pups can be off leash. It was perfect. I already want to go back. The place was easy to find and Sherri is great to answer all your questions. It's a peaceful gateway with a clean outhouse, great fire pit, and they even left us some fire wood. Highly recommend!
