Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Slow down and experience farm life in this private loft above the treetops. Our farmstay allows visitors to mingle with chickens, pigs, and turkeys, explore the woods through miles of hiking trails, walk through our small scale sustainable farm, and unwind with a tranquil view of the surrounding mountains from your bed. Farm raised meat, produce, as well as homemade shelf stable goods are conveniently available for purchase in the loft. Located 10 minutes from downtown Indiana.THE SPACE: The loft is a private 1 bed, 1 bath space on the second floor of our home with a separate entrance. There is a kitchenette, queen bed, and small sofa, perfect for couples or families with small children. Babies and toddlers are welcome, however the loft has an open stairwell. The loft is new construction, completed in 2024 and includes high speed wifi, in room A/C unit, hardwood floors and granite countertops.
OUTDOORS: The loft is located at the top of a hill nestled in the woods. Wildlife is abundant: deer, turkeys, owls, red-tailed hawks, foxes, and the occasional family of bears wander the property. There is a cafe table, hammock, kid swings and a mud kitchen in the front yard.
HIKING: There are miles of trails on the property and are happy to point you in the right direction. Looking for more adventure? Head to one of Indiana County's outdoor attractions: Yellow Creek State Park, Blue Spruce Park, the Hoodlebug Trail, and Whites Woods are all within a 15 minutes drive.
MOTHER EARTH FARM: The property is located on 70+ acres, the heart of which is the Farm. Our small scale, sustainable operation produces vegetables and fruit as well as pasture raised pigs, turkeys and chickens. The seasons dictate what we have on the farm, let us know in advance what you would like to experience and we will do our best to accommodate.
FARM GOODIES FOR SALE: The loft comes fully stocked with items direct from the farm. Items are available for purchase in the fridge, freezer, and curio cabinet in the room where you stay. Availability is seasonal but items typically available include: chicken, pork, jams, eggs, hot mustard, pickled items, fresh vegetables, berries, and soap.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Local breweries, coffee shops, drive-in movie theatre, rails to trails biking, the Jimmy Stewart Museum, and the charm of small-town living is 10 minutes away in downtown historic Indiana. We'd be happy to make recommendations!

We have kids so please take it slow on the driveway.

Peaceful. Perfectly quiet evenings - this escape from noise pollution was much needed. We watched the moon rise and the sunrise! Cozy, comfortable, clean, new. We purchased and ate Treetop Farm home grown, "clean" food and loved eating healthy during our vacation. We even bought some of this special food to take home, including jams, vegetables and chicken. Jennica also provided plenty of local specific information to help us enjoy hiking and sightseeing in Pittsburgh. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we highly recommend Jennica's Treetop!
