Former Dairy Farm but, the milking and hay barns burned many years Past. Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions. The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there. New this year you will find a picnic table for 6 and a 3 Ft. dia. fire pit with adjustable grill that flips out for open fire @ each site. Another new item is open to the sky "Hot Shower"Hemlock campsite features a fully furnished twelve feet by sixteen-foot NEW Canvas Kodiak Cabin Lodge Tent on a wooden platform. [NOTE: use entrance 3 follow field road to Port-a-potty on right then you will see the Hemlock sign] Enjoy a queen-sized memory foam mattress as the night sounds lull you to sleep. The site is very secluded with plenty of privacy. You can drive to the site with a car, van or pickup. Bring your own cooking and cleaning kits. There is no drinking water near this site. Please note that this is a tent and bed you do not have to set up - Just everything else you would take camping. The only electricity we have is outside solar lights. Please NOTE the two photos, one shows the entrance the other is the sign. We have three new items this year: 1. A picnic table for six. 2. A three-foot diameter metal fire ring with adjustable grill. 3. The onsite shower is hot. Please bring your own shower stuff. Donations welcome. 4. New tent deck = 12' x 24'

Beautiful cozy

Group trip

Beautiful cozy comfy cabin right in driving distance to Burlington, the view of the mountain was stunning and the hostess is also very sweet and accommodating (sorry if we were rowdy Louella!) the shower was very nice and hot and the puppy was very cute. Can't wait to visit again for a more relaxing time!

Great views! Stars at night were magical. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. Host was kind and greeted us then gave us privacy.

Great Experience + Beautiful View!

We LOVED car camping here! It was late October, so definitely chilly, but amazing! The view was stunning of the field and mountains. Site was clean and secluded. We could see the stars and it was super peaceful! They left firewood for us too 😊 we will definitely be back when we visit VT again! Such a unique camping experience!

Madine's site was gorgeous. Could not have asked for a better view. It felt very private. Louella was so nice, provided great directions and we really appreciated the opportunity to buy her farm fresh eggs. We already thinking about when we can return.
