This charming camp offers beautiful views of Mount Eden, almost anywhere from the cleared camp site. A large camper protected by a metal roof on a wood frame sleeps several and provides some creature comforts at this rural retreat. A bunk house offers additional capacity. This is off grid with an outhouse. The level lawn space is great for BBQs, relaxing or lawn games or pitching a tent. Enjoy the sounds of wildlife and beautiful mountain sunsets secluded in nature, surrounded by woodlands and pastureland.
The location of this site is so amazing! the views and are beautiful and it is very private! The RV is not super nice and not what i would choose to stay in. The bunkhouse is nicer than the RV. There are a few level areas to park a van if that is your lifestyle, and a couple areas for tents as well. The campsite would be a great area for a family or group of friends, but the facilities (RV and bunkhouse) are not the nicest. There is a nice outhouse on the site as well.
Such a gorgeous location. If you’re looking for someplace to get away from it all, this remote location is ideal. Make sure you write out the directions because internet connection and phone service is spotty! I had reserved the bunkhouse, but the weather was just right and the mountain air was so refreshing, I ended up just sleeping in my hammock in a perfect grove of trees just outside of the cabin. The drive there includes a long, hilly, gravel-type road (not totally gravel, but not smooth like a highway or regular road), but my little 2005 Scion Xa made it just fine, so I think just about any vehicle will make it! The area had an incredibly peaceful feel and gorgeous views. None of the other campsites were take during my stay there, so I had the place to myself. Would be a great writer’s retreat.
