The cabin offers a picturesque setting perfect for those seeking a cozy retreat surrounded by nature. Guests rave about the warmth from the wood stove and the well-stocked amenities that make for a comfortable stay. The location is both private and conveniently close to local attractions, making it ideal for star-gazing and outdoor adventures. Some visitors noted the cabin's rustic charm, including encounters with insects and the need for additional firewood, but overall, the experience is highly recommended for its tranquility and thoughtful details.

Great little place to seclude yourself. I got the picturesque mountains and snow during my stay. We'll equipped cabin even though I didn't use much of it!

Our favorite HipCamp spot!!!!
Beautiful, private, well-stocked and full of adventure. Hiking and fishing on the property as well as Staunton and Fishersville nearby to explore…games, books, and puzzles in the cabin keep you entertained no matter the weather. The outhouse is in fine working order; there’s plenty of gatherable wood for the fire pit and they supply plenty of cut wood for the woodstove. The loft is easy to access and stays toasty warm, and the double-burner propane stove and Berkey water filter offer “glamping” at its best. An incredible experience!!

William’s cabin and land are just lovely. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve at the cabin. The woodstove was such a treat, and the space was perfect for a quiet evening of board games and reading. The open field offers excellent star-gazing opportunities. We do hope to return!

With kids
My daughters and I had a great time. Though it was a short overnight trip, we stayed warm thanks to the wood stove and firewood provided. My girls had fun exploring the property, especially the creek and finding firewood for the camp fire. We’ll be back in the summer to play in the water and go fishing too.
