The best camping near Blackstrap Provincial Park

Sure, Blackstrap has beautiful trails, backcountry camping, swimming, and all the other water activities you could desire, but this park also serves up a whole heap of other attractions that make it a major vacation destination. In summer, there are drive-in movies, the Aquatic Adventures Inflatable Waterpark, a beach cafe, and a nighttime geo-caching trail. Also a popular day-use park with a boat launch, this is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a party vibe, though it is possible to find quieter spots in the park (especially if you go for the walk-in campsites).

• Best for hikers: Hazelnut Grove Campground is located next to the park’s hiking trails. 
• Best for classic park views: Sunset Ridge Campground serves up sweeping vistas.
