Caravan parks near Blackpool guide

Overview

Blackpool features a lively entertainment scene, iconic historical landmarks, and easy access to many national parks, making it a top destination for caravan campers. Drive one hour north to Lake District National Park and cruise the waters of Windemere or hike Old Man Coniston Hill. Enjoy gorgeous sunset views and starry skies at night after rolling the caravan into a farm holiday park featuring pitches with potable water and electrical hookups. Yorkshire Dales National Park awaits just around the corner with motorhome accommodations that treat campers to indulgent amenities, like an on-site beer garden and private fishing access on the river. The limestone cliffs in Malham Cove and historic estate of Bolton Abbey are fan favourites in the area, as well. Blackpool’s oceanic climate is mild year-round. However, rain likes to make an appearance regardless of the month, so make sure the windshield wipers are in tip-top shape before taking off for adventure.
