Peaceful, simple site just five minutes’ drive from pubs and shops. Visiting the offspring at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David? Or just longing for a quiet motorhome break with a back-to-nature vibe on level grass pitches? Either way, Lampeter Caravan and Camping makes a more-than-handy base. This small, family-run site has spectacular views over the Ceredigion Hills at Maesypwll and is five minutes’ drive from the Lampeter campus. While you’re in Lampeter, pick up food supplies from the supermarkets in Lampeter, or if cooking is off the schedule (this is your holiday after all) there are pubs, fish and chip shops and takeaways galore for you to choose your supper from. Set on a working farm, the pitches have easy access from the main A475, giving you good connections with the coast at Aberaeron (25 minutes’ drive) or the indie shops of Carmarthen (40 minutes). Simple on-site facilities include a shower and loo block, plus recycling and waste-water disposal. With just a handful of pitches, there is loads of room for kids to let off steam safely and have a run around with (well-behaved) dogs.

We now offer Pre-Booked options of early arrival from 11am on your day of arrival and late departure on your last day up to 6pm. A micro "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Back to basic camping with some modern touches. FREE WiFi. All power here is generated from Solar-PV and distributed to our camping field. The camp has open plan pitches and you can generally choose your preferred spot. Families and children very welcome. Well behaved dogs must be on leads at all times.     Small dog-friendly site on the banks of the river Severn Adjacent to the Severn Way and half an hour’s walk from the canal Wildlife haven within walking distance of pubs and Frampton on Severn Craving a peaceful time filled with wildlife watching, long walks and relaxing by the water? On the banks of the River Severn, Baldwin’s Brook Glamping in Gloucestershire fits the bill. This small site is a wildlife haven adjacent to the Severn Way, a long-distance trail which traces the river downstream. Birdwatching prospects are excellent here, and there’s plenty of peace if you’d rather sit and relax by a firepit or check out the stunning views and sunsets. The site is part of a working family farm with lots of livestock. From the farm, it’s a 45-minute walk to Frampton on Severn, which is home to the longest village green in England and the lively Frampton Country Fair (think funfair… and 400 stalls full of good stuff). Baldwin’s Brook Glamping is also half an hour’s walk away from the Cotswold Canal Trust Visitor Centre by The Gloucester and Sharpness Canal if you’d like to grab a spot on a boat trip or sip a coffee by the canal. When you'd rather have a chilled beer, two pubs are within half a mile of the site (only 10 minutes’ walk away). Strike up a conversation with a local about the next Severn Bore, the huge tidal wave which races for 25 miles from Awre to Gloucester down the estuary just a handful of times per year.

    Tŷ Cochyn Caravan and Campsite is a 28 pitch Adult Only touring caravan, campervan and motorhome site set in North West Anglesey with stunning panoramic views across to Ireland - sit and watch the ferries and cruise liners come in and out of Holyhead, with Mynydd Twr (Holyhead Mountain) as the backdrop. Anglesey is well known for its big skies which are ideal for stargazing and who knows, you could see the Aurora Borealis! Pitches are a minimum of 80 sq. m. with Electrical Hook Up and water connection on each pitch. Chemical waste points are available. A brand new shower block awaits as well with private changing area, showers, toilets and basins. All of this in a tranquil setting full of wildlife. Dogs are welcome on leads on the site, or free to run off lead in the safety of the dog field. Take a stroll around the site to admire the views and connect with nature. Porth Swtan (Church Bay) beach is not far away which has plenty of facilities, Bay Bites which is open to non-residents, Wavecrest Café and the famous Lobster Pot restaurant. Main supermarkets are readily accessible in Holyhead. You are also a stone's throw from the Anglesey Coastal Path, which connects you to over 130 miles of the island's coastline. Tŷ Cochyn Caravan and Campsite also offers seasonal pitches and the option of over winter storage.

    We have stayed at 68 Degrees West a couple of times now. It’s a great campsite. There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Thanks so much for a great stay!

    Location is excellent. The views are stunning despite our stay being on a more overly cloudy/misty day/night. Close to Brecon town centre and easily reached by taxi both ways. Craddock Golf Course nearby was also very welcoming where we watch the 1st half of the rugby before heading into town. We did message a couple of times via Hipcamp about the pitch but didnt get a reply. However, when we arrived we were happy with the pitches available. We just picked our own and set up. Overall we were really pleased and would definitely return.

    The site is very peaceful on the banks of the Severn within walking distance of two good pubs that do food. The site is well maintained with easy hookups for our camper and plenty of space between pitches. Picturesque Saul junction is five minutes drive with lots of narrow boats and a decent cafe.
