1 night at Old Litten

Fantastic spot. Great scenery, lovely walking tracks and all felt very private. Charlotte was very lovely and helpful when we arrived to show us around the site and all the useful bits in the shed.

We stayed 2 night camping, was a lovely clean site. Beautiful towns near by to explore and plenty of places to go walk. Host was cheerful and very helpful. We would absolutely come back again!

Thank you Charlie for a lovely stay. The plot was very well located, and amenities excellent. We enjoyed a lovely walk and coffee before heading home. There is a pub nearby, which was walkable and good. The only thing we weren’t so keen on was the sound from the clay pigeon shooting next door in the morning! But would definitely come back!

1 night at Alciston Court Farm

I didn't stay into the main field but in one right at the foothills of the South Downs Way accessible by a gravel road. The directions on hipcamp weren't the best but Miles kindly came out and met me. I wish it was possible to add a photo to the review as the views were really stunning. Ideal if your set up for wild camping with a rooftop tent.

We had an absolutely fantastic back to basics stay, which is exactly what we were looking for! Absolute Perfection! We have already booked to come back!

3 nights at Sweet Hill Farm

Sweet Hill Farm is a great little spot. The views are what really make this camping spot - waking up every morning to the sea, Portland Bill Lighthouse and the horses in the field. We stayed in our van so had all we needed, but the site has toilets (port-a-loos), water for drinking and washing up and new shower blocks. There is a food and drink hut that offers fresh coffee, baked goods and cakes too. Family fun, friendly and part of an equestrian farm, there's also lots of other lovely animals happy in their habitat. A great campsite and perfect base for exploring the area and the coastal walks on offer :).

What an absolute gem! 💎 The site is beautiful, only a short walk to Portland Light house via a costal walk. Staff were friendly and really helpful and so was the beautiful owners dog. Our plans were to venture out to watch the rugby, but the on site shop and everything we needed, and decided to stay on site and admire the view. Ee can’t wait to visit again with the kids ( lovely play area and animals to look at) Showers were perfect and HOT ! We think we have found our “go to” site, and can’t wait to come back ♥️

Loved the campsite. Very relaxed and chilled. Basically facilities but awesome views and rustic which I prefer Arrived late on the first night and did find it hard to find my pitch in the dark. Someone else had pinched my hook up but I managed to find an alternative so all good

Amazing view, fantastic host. I will be definitely returning when the weather is better. Plenty of walks and pub within 15mins walk.

Weekend Trip to Stockbridge View Campsite

Fantastic campsite, the host is really friendly and helpful, he gave us a warm welcome and was lovely with our dogs. The shower block is clean and well kept, and the washing up block is well maintained too. The site is tidy and clean, while not huge I felt we had plenty of space. We parked our small campervan on a hard standing site, and the rest of the site wasn’t particularly muddy. There were several other campers with dogs, everyone we encountered was friendly and clearly enjoying the wonderful quiet site! The site is a short walk or drive to Stockbridge, so if you need anything from the town it isn’t a hassle to get to. The town is worth a visit, so having a campsite in such close vicinity is a treat. I would highly recommend this site, I camp regularly throughout the year and this is one of the nicest sites I’ve visited.

We had a fantastic stay at this campsite in Petersfield, despite arriving much later than planned due to an accident on the way. John was incredibly helpful and patient, welcoming us with a smile even though it was late, raining, and very muddy! The location is great, with lovely views, and Charlotte and John have thoughtfully provided everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Even in wet weather, it was a great spot—peaceful and well set up. We’re looking forward to coming back when the sun is shining!

Weekend Trip to Cattlestone Farm Adult Only

The farm was very easy to get to, and Donna and her husband were extremely communicative and welcoming. The cabin itself was an utter delight and more than I would've expected, both in terms of amenities available, and the quality therein. Very easy to both cook on site and enjoy the farm itself, and to head out into the countryside. Plus the cows were such a special treat to see!

Weekend Trip to Spring Hill Wild Camping

Great, basic camping within 10min walk of a pub, and open in winter. No showers, but compost loos. No running water in January as it is powered by solar, but luckily we brought some water. Firewood was supplied for £5 a bucket, and the pitches are equipped with fire pits. Alpacas are very cute!

Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; please use existing scorched areas if possible rather than creating new ones. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished. Wipe your feet prior to entering the Bell tents to remove any coal that may have become attached. Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 5mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment. Drugs and Alcohol: Drug use is prohibited, and violators will be asked to leave. Consume alcohol responsibly, and do not drive or move your vehicle after consuming alcohol.
