We are located at Cliff Stud Retreat, a 220 acre former stud farm, just outside Helmsley on the foot of the North Yorkshire Moors. We are a top-rated luxury glamping site and we can't wait to welcome you! With amazing views and off a very quiet country lane that leads directly into the Moors, you'll be able to arrive, kick off your shoes and start relaxing, enjoying a beer and roasting marshmellows over the BBQ, whilst watching the sun go down. Our ethos is all about family, fun and living simply among nature. Our off-grid glamping site has just five, well spaced, luxury bell tents, each with their own allocated private compost toilet and shower. your own garden area with firepit, BBQ and seating area.

2 -Rose Bell Tent

The good: the tents were nice, every tent got their own bathroom shed, table & fire pit. We stayed for two nights, but there were only other guests for one. There was lots of games & sports equipment to use. The bad: The single beds were futons, so not comfy. The hot water on our bathroom shed had no water pressure, and on the second night we lost hot water. A lot of the games equipment was damaged. When we arrived we were only able to give 5 min notice, due to no signal at a local tourist attraction, so we had to wait for 30min for the hosts to arrive.

Relaxing glamping

3 - Sunflower Bell Tent

Had a great 2 night stay as a family with a 10 year old. Lovely site very peaceful and walking distance to hemsley center. Everything you could think of provided in the tent for cooking. A box of games were great for playing in the evenings and a few outdoors games including swing ball and table tennis which went down very well. Not having electricity was never a issue as torches and lamps provided and inside lit up lovely with fairy lights.

3 - Sunflower Bell Tent

The view was amazing and the king size bed in the bell tent was really comfortable. Andy was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and return.
