New RV Shakedown Trip
32 ft Class A · Group trip
This was our first time camping in our new RV. The campsite was large and perfect for a newbie couple learning how to maneuver a 33' class A. Mike was a great host and helped us get connected to the 30A electric service when our "dogbone" adapter would not fit into the plug box. The campsite is across the street from the Santa Fe River and campers have access to a boat ramp for launching into the river. There were a lot of golf carts and UTVs running up and down the road in front of the campsite. You should bring your toys if you camp here. We only stayed 2 nights, but we will be back.
One thing I would recommend is to have extra sewer hose because the sewer connection is behind the site and our 20' of hose was not enough to reach (30' total would have worked for us). We had to dump our tanks by repositioning our rig before we left.

Great location, with a park and water view nearby. Thought every site has sewage hook up, but one did not.
Overall a great host and great place to camp.
